I put together a set of 36 cards with halves, thirds, fourths, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eights and ninths, ranging from 1/2 to 8/9.
Students choose with letter - A, B, C or D - best estimates the placement of a given fraction. All fractions are between 0 and 1.
I also included 8 fraction checkers that students can use to check their answers by overlaying the checker on their cards.
Laminating the cards and checkers will allow students to segment the number lines with a dry erase marker to help with estimation. Or, you can pass a different card to each student to complete as a warm-up in their notebooks. The cards can also be used as a center activity or as a group/partner activity.
You can find the fraction practice cards here on TPT: Estimating Fractions on a Number Line Practice Cards
