In this post I want to share with you how I use math templates and link you to a free algebra template for graphing linear equations. I recently added a link to a Google version that can be assigned online.
Above is the original 1/2-sheet algebra 1 template that is similar to an algebra 2 template I love using for nonlinear functions. There's a full-page version inside the file that can be put into page protectors to use with dry erase markers, along with a Google Slides version.
When students come into my room, they know to grab a template from the basket at the front of the classroom. Shining on the front board is either an equation or a graph, and my students know that they are responsible for filling in the rest of the template.
Warm-up templates are working so well in my classes that I started making more to use throughout our units. You can see and download all of the free math templates I have made so far from this math templates post.
