Free Algebra 1 Warm-Up Template

"Where's my math warm-up? I know I printed it yesterday?" Does this sound familiar? This was me before I streamlined my math warm-up life with templates so that I could focus more on the meat of the day's lesson. In this post I want to share with you how I use math templates and link you to this free Algebra 1 template. I recently added to the template's file with a link to a Google version that can be assigned online if students are working remotely.

Above is the original 1/2-sheet algebra 1 template that is similar to an algebra 2 template I love using for nonlinear functions. There's a full-page version inside the file that can be put into page protectors to use with dry erase markers, along with a Google Slides version.

When students come into my room, they know to grab a template from the basket at the front of the classroom. Shining on the front board is either an equation or a graph, and my students know that they are responsible for filling in the rest of the template.

Warm-up templates are working so well in my classes that I started making more to use throughout our units. You can see and download all of the free math templates I have made so far from this math templates post.
